Interval Running Workout #2

Looking for a new interval running workout to try out? Here's another treadmill routine that you can incorporate into your weekly training routine regardless of the weather.


Treadmill Interval Running Workout #2

  • Go through a warm-up routine

  • Walk 1 minute @ 3.5 mph

  • Run 3 minutes @ 7 mph then rest 1 minute

  • Run 2 minutes @ 8 mph then rest 1 minute

  • Run 1 minute :30 seconds @ 8.5 mph then rest :45 seconds

  • Run 1 minute @ 9 mph then rest :30 seconds

  • Run :30 seconds @ 9.5 mph then rest 1 minute

  • Run :15 seconds @ 10.5 mph

  • Walk 2 minutes @ 3.5 mph


Speeds may need to be adjusted to better accommodate your individual fitness level.
